Kevin Busch  M.ADS, RBA (Ont.), BCBA, LBA(NY)

Kevin brings over 30 years of experience across human services, behaviour analysis, bereavement care, education, infrastructure, and organizational leadership to his role as Clinical Director and founder of Second Origin. He is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Licensed Behavior Analyst (NY), and graduate of Brock University’s Master of Applied Disability Studies (ABA stream), currently advancing his training as a Master of Clinical Psychology student at Adler Graduate Professional School.

At Second Origin, we provide in-home and virtual therapy, assessments, caregiver coaching, and school-based support that integrates seamlessly with IEPs and team goals. Our practice is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming, grounded in plain-language communication, informed consent, and respect for autonomy. Drawing on both professional training and his lived experience as a neurodivergent parent of a neurodivergent child, Kevin specializes in curriculum design, executive-functioning supports, and individualized behaviour analysis that prioritize dignity, practicality, and meaningful generalization into daily life.

His clinical vision emphasizes equity, sustainability, and access; particularly for transitional-aged youth, Indigenous communities, and neurodivergent populations. Informed by Indigenous ways of knowing and the “Two-Eyed Seeing” approach, Kevin works to integrate behavioural science with community-led practices, elevating Elders and Grandmothers as cultural knowledge keepers and guides. Known for his collaborative, straight-talking approach, he partners with families, educators, and community providers to build sustainable progress that lasts beyond therapy and strengthens lives across settings.
